Resource-optimization decisions during the order-to-cash lifecycle of a services company is the backbone of its profitability. When multiple factors are involved and there is no insight into cause and effect relationships inferring such patterns from data becomes critical.

Outcome

Our deep-learning based optimization product suggested actions (or nudges) that improved profitability by almost 10 percentage points and operational efficiency by several notches. Areas spanned include sales-closure, hiring-separation, delivery-deployment and working-capital management

Execution

The product uses transfer learning and applies Adam based optimization to derive nudges using dimensionality reduction. The resultant recommendations can be implemented using controllable levers in bidding, staffing, assignments, delivery, tracking, invoicing and collections.
